Thinking out loud

I cried infront of my mother for the first time in my life today and I'm 31 years old...that's what the suffering of ocd can do to you. Feels so alienating to see what it does to your loved ones who themselves feel helpless. I know nothing is fairin life and we are supposed to practice unconditional acceptance with this illness but the emotional toll it takes on me is unbearable.

I feel this, I cried in front of my dad for the first time and I'm 22, and I actually saw him cry for the first time. It will get better, your family loves you and understands it isn't your fault.

I've cried when my ocd is bad . I'm on 20mg lexapro and add clonazepam and i finally feel normal again This disorder can reck your life. But the meds make me see things more rationally and the cycle stops. It's terrifying when your in an OCD loop, you fell like your losing your mind, Take some meds and it will be controllable once again
