Basically, Lewis Caroll, a physicist, makes a compelling argument as to why life after death is impossible, and this really scared me because I would like to believe there is something after death. The very same day, my great grandpa died, so that made it even worse, as I began to worry that my great grandpa fell into oblivion and that I will never see him again. Now, I'm obsessing about whether there's life after death. How do I get myself to calm down?

It sounds like OCD to me -- one article about one physicist's beliefs (written in a somewhat sensationalized style for the popular press) should not cause someone to obsessively question their beliefs unless OCD is involved. (Check out the title of this article by the same author printed 3 years earlier: express.co.uk/news/science/...
There are plenty of physicists who are theists and would no doubt disagree with the one interviewed here. FWIW, the physicist in the article is named Sean Carroll, not Lewis -- so don't go down the rabbit hole 🙂
