I wrote this out tonight and thought I’d share with you all if you may find it helpful. I am working through ERP (exposure and response prevention) for my OCD and thought it’d be helpful for me to have a script I can use. If you have OCD and are doing ERP- you are not alone! Keep at it. You are worth the work. Even if it feels like you are taking two steps forward and one step back- progress is progress. Allow yourself to journey on in this process with kindness and compassion. As my therapist shared with me, OCD is a part of you, not all of you. You are beautifully and wonderfully made. I hope this encourages you ❤️
