I will be attending this group on 27th Jan, for the first time, with a friend as my husband doesn't want to attend yet. I just wondered 🤔 if anyone else from here is going???

We would like to invite you to our next Support Group meeting for people affected by MSA in Bristol and the surrounding areas. The Group aims to link people with MSA and their carers, relatives, friends and interested health and social care professionals. It offers a forum for discussion, support and information and to raise awareness locally about MSA and problems associated with the condition. Please do bring along or inform any of your health and care professionals who you think would be interested in this meeting.

Jill Lyons, our MSA Nurse Specialist, will be attending this meeting and can answer any individual questions you may have.

We may change requirements if necessary. We expect attendees to adhere to our guidelines and understand that they attend at their own risk.

All attendees must RSVP in advance and provide a contact number for on the day, this is in case there are any last-minute changes or cancellations.

If you are acutely unwell with respiratory or covid type symptoms please do not attend.

Hi Frenchoak. we are going 😊 It’s our second time.

I have MSA and Lisa is my wife. It’s in the early stages - I can still walk around with a LifeGlider walker, though slowly and with rests . We found the group welcoming and worth going to . My sister has also been to a group where she lives as sister of someone with MSA. She found it worthwhile too.

Last time we went we liked meeting people who are ‘in there same boat’ and hearing other people’s problems and solutions. See you there! If your husband does decide to come I can look out for him and say hello
