As has been said, It does sound that she has a chest infection. It is fairly common with MSA and can be hard to treat at times. I've has six prescriptions of antibiotics in a row and I still have a chest infection. They can be hard to clear up with an immune system that's not working too well. Does she have chest infection symptoms? ie a cough, wheezing etc. My chest sounds like a bear grumbling when I'm lying down. If so they need to get hr on antibiotics. Good luck 😊
Sorry to hear you lady is unwell and has breathing issues.
MSA sufferers have a vulnerability to chest infections, but as their body systems are compromised they usually cant feel ill like you or I may and the only time you know something is wrong is changes in breathing noise. Firstly get hold of the doctors and say breathing issues... They may say dial 999, if they do then do not hesitate, breathing issues can become severe and life threatening far to quickly.
Once the infection is cleared up (if it is an infection) then get yourself an ear thermometer to test for raised temperature and also a finger pulse monitor to monitor oxygen levels and pulse. Chat with your GP about what is abnormal and monitor when you notice a change from "normal"
So sorry to hear about your wife passing. There are no words. I wonder how you are doing. Please feel free to post and tell us about how you are when you feel up to it.
She bravely insisted on running through to the finish line. On the one hand, she has been regressing in the last 6 months, on the other hand, I believe she may be feeling heartbroken that I have to take care of her, I know she loves me.
Her funeral service has been held on 29/4. Memories of her and ours flash up from time to time and still have to handle a lot of belongings she left behind. I have to do it little by little.
