I finally managed to get an update at 11.00pm last night, he is in a side room on a covid ward, he's on oxygen and IV antibiotics, he's being treated for pneumonia and sepsis, he has had the 1st test for covid which came back negative and they are awaiting the results from the 2nd test, I have to ring back at 11.00pm tonight, I need to get him out of there and back into his nursing home so he is safe but while he still needs oxygen this is not possible xx

thanks so much Helen xx

Very glad to hear you got through to them at last! Might be a long shot, but in parts of Scotland at least, they are now rolling out oxygen machines on prescription for home use. Fingers crossed for your area. Kx

thank you Kay, I managed to speak to his Nurse last night (they actually rang me, 1st time since he's been in there) he's on IV antibiotics and because of a shortage of community nurses he can't be sent back to his Nursing Home at the moment, I am so worried he will contract the virus whilst he's on a covid ward, I'm praying I will get to see him and he survives all this xx

Oh gosh. Well I think we are all praying for you too. Religious or not!

xx
