Hi Freda

It looks like an oil painting! Did you have a good time - hopefully the weather was kind to you. Ian

I had alovely time. The weather was very windy all the tme with sunshine and showers. What I call short expedition weather. Out and back before the next belt of rain. I was with a very dear friend who spent 4 years hauling theodolites and car batteries up the scottish mountains after the war for the Ordnance Survey and thought it was a paid holiday. He fell in love with that part of Scotland and I can see why. I enjoyed being introduced to his old haunts - no climbing up Munroes now though. We admired them from sea level.
