I have been watching this question for almost 2 weeks. Perplexed but also not knowing what to say or what to ask. The c-reactive protein is an inflammation marker,so for someone with Et or PV what would it show up??? Regards Hackett

Hi Brianna, in reply to your question - CRP is a blood test that is usually elevated when there is infection, it is often a screening test which is used to see if the elevated platelet count is due to infection rather than ET. I hope this helps a bit. Maz
