Reduced platelets and feeling worse?

Has anyone else experienced this. My Platelets weree over 1,000 now they are starting to come down, only with baby asprin, but I feel worse.

Feeling more tired than usual no energy and getting a bit breathless more than usual

How good that your platelets are going down with just aspirin - can't understan why you feel worse, unless the aspirin does not agree with you. Do you see a haematologist regularly?

I get very tired also, it seems to be linked ET. I am on aspirin only also but I have had ET for about fifteen years. Was on Hydroxicarbamide for many years but was taken off when I developed two ulcers on my right ankle (caused by the Hydroxi... Do see your haematologist about feeling worse now . Hope you soon feel better.

I don't see him till the end of Oct. I have just had onother scan done to see if spleen has grown since last scan 3yrs ago. Hopefully the scan will show something.

i feel like that i was on my hydroxycarbamide mon to fri 1 a day 2 sat and sun they tried to get platlets under control they tried cutting it to 1 mon to thurs i feel really tired lethargic but they are happy with my platelet count so are not changing the way i am taking it i have had et since 1994
