Potential effects of NHS reforms on MPD hospital services. Ie I am seen by my consultant every three months I hope this level of contact will continue?
Let's hope that the reforms don't have too much effect on services for the MPD community, this is something I think that will worry quite a lot of people.
Sorry I'm not aware of what these reforms are... I've kept my head in the sand until recently!! After 3 years with ET, my condition is quite stable and I have a 'telephone consultation' with my Consultant and get regular bloods and Meds from my GP. It seems to be working really well, obviously if I have any problems I know that I can contact my Consultant at any time.
