First time perfect Blood Results

Hi I posted a message few weeks back from abroad and requested assistance regarding poor results.

Some of you suggested few valuable suggestions and approaches.

subsequently ,I consulted a Haematologist and did new blood test and blood picture. That results indicated 217 platelets count and 0.43 HCT

The consultant advised all good .

That consultation appointment I got it within 24 hours with a Haematologist at a private hospital there.

However, as one of you suggested I advanced my return flight and arrived in Australia on the 11 th of April.

The other blood test results I obtained at a laboratory overseas was in complete error.

Upon arrival in Australia I had a full blood count test on the 15 th April and consulted my regular Haematologist today.

The specialist informed me today that my blood results are prefect. In fact this is the first results all blood parameters within normal limits for at least in the last twenty years. Because from the records I have the earliest results of August 2005, which shows some non conformance. But that was not the first one.

But I had commenced treatment first time in July 2024. Because then only diagnosed Jak2 positive first time.

The specialist has now increased the duration for injection from one month to six weeks. (90 micrograms)

He was v happy and told the treatment medicine is very effective for me and asked me to consult in Sep after few further injections. At that time depending on results he said he will increase duration further and subsequently at one day may be able to fully come out of it provided all going well.

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank for all those who have given me support and suggestions at various times. I am not mentioning the individual names because there are many of you. Will keep you all informed progress. Happy Easter wishes even though bit delayed.

Great news! Also a good cautionary tale about not overreacting to a single lab reading. Labs do make mistakes.
