I watched an MPN video last week which suggested that the RSN jab would be good for we MPNs and I wondered if others had been advised to have this? I had a haemotology appointment just a couple of weeks ago and nothing was said about it. Thanks

Have not heard of a RSN vaccine. The RSV vaccine is a good idea for many of us. "CDC recommends a single dose of any FDA-licensed RSV vaccine for all adults ages 75 and older and adults ages 60–74 at increased risk of severe RSV." cdc.gov/rsv/hcp/vaccine-cli....
I was going to get my RSV vax this week & sadly was too late! I actually just got RSV! Do you know if you get any immunity by actually having RSV? I have found conflicting info on this and don't know if I still need to get vaxed. I'm in the process of changing primary MDs so can't ask her.
If you are in the UK you are eligible if aged between 75 and 80 years, so a narrow window. I'm not aware of it being offered to younger compromised individuals. Mine booked for Wednesday next. I wasn't sure whether I wanted yet another vaccine atm but when I asked MOPN specialist on recent routine appt she said it was important for the elderly.....
Yes I rechecked the website and specifies ' up to your 80th birthday'! This seems very discriminatory. Could be cost or limited supplies maybe but makes one wonder........
I asked my GP last week would I be eligible for the RSV vaccine I have ET Jak2
I am 80 .He explained it is only available for 75-79 yr olds on the NHS with no mention for patients with immune systems disorder .He did not agree that was correct and made no sense for it not to given to older patients regardless clearly it is all done to cost.
I have not explored having it privately but I think it is quite expensive.
I guess the Government think over 80’s are dispensable
