I have recently been diagnosed with Erdheim-Chester Disease after being treated for many years for an MPN, (ET) I have started on Pegasys Interferon and will be travelling by plane soon (yay) and am looking for advice to keep the injections cool. Does anyone use a fridge (or similar) thermometer in their cooler to keep an eye on the temp?
Thanks in advance,

I do not bother with a thermometer. I do use a high-quality cooler bag with one or more gel ice packs to keep the med cool. That has worked fins thus far. I would consider other options if on a very long trip.
hi, I travelled around Australia and NZ for just over 6 weeks with 3 injections. I used a cool bag, ice packs plastic zipper bags and a fridge thermometer. I found plastic zipper bags brilliant bags as you can easily ask fast food chains or buy ice when needed. I wouldn’t recommend doing it that way for such a long time again but short haul and no touring would be fine.
I also tweaked my medication dates to prevent taking more.
No thermometer I put it in my small cool bag. I have flown all over the world with it & topped it up with a bit of ice cubes in bag in emergencies as sometimes no fridge on my travels. It’s always been fine. 👌 Julia UK. PS. I leave it sealed in its box for customs & take my letter authorising use.
