Itchy feet and hands

I’m on hydroxyurea. I Don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but sometimes when I go to bed, the soles of my feet or the palms of my hands start itching continuously. Does anybody else have this problem?

Itching can be caused by either HU or the MPN. It can also be caused by other things. Sometimes timing is the only clue as to which is which. This would be an issue to review with your MPN care team.

Of course 60% of polycythemia vera patients also have these itches Of course I do too, there is no solution for this,even though there are a lot of drugs they are not a solution for everyone I scratch with a hair comb.water makes the itchiness stronger however when I go to the pool or the sea I don't have problems only when I shower but also randomly sometimes in the evening without realizing if it depends on the humidity in the air, food or something elselooks like i'll have to get used to it though as it's getting more and more annoying.if you find a solution, let me know too. Try Zyrtec 1mg orIf not work, take beta alanine.

Thank you. It doesn’t happen all the time just occasionally so maybe it’s not related to this medication. It usually happens when I’m about to go to bed and drives me crazy to keep scratching my feet and try to fall asleep.
