We can't advise on this medical question. Best to ask your haematologist.

According to both ePocrates and medscape interaction checkers, there are no known interactions for CBD-hydroxyurea-aspirin. It is always best to check with a medical provider who is knowledgeable about complementary health interventions. That is why I consult with an Integrative/Functional Medicine doctor.

If you see my response today in another current discussion regarding CBD it is apparent that caution should be applied when using any medication with a grapefruit warning but Hydroxycarbamide does not come under this category. As others have also found no clinical interaction it would seem to safe.

Although you should always check with your doctor when starting something new I have found that unless the doctor takes special interest in the subject they are generally very ignorant in this.

Best wishes Jan

When I gave my list of suppliments to Consultant at Guy's she gave it to Pharma cy to check for interaction s with meds. I trusted my alternative practitioner but felt it was good to co operate with hospital.

I looked into these gummies for a friend and found that the Fern Brittain gummies are fake. Fern has has commented on this herself.

I can't add anything to the discussion on gummies because I personally don't use edibles. However, at 76 I have a lot of arthritis. Have been on HU for 2+ years to address PV. Every night I do smoke a little cannabis. I believe it has helped my arthritis and general inflammation but there is nothing to support that except I don't take any other pain relievers and I'm managing quite well. I haven't had ANY adverse effects with this. Good luck with the gummies but suggest you procure them from a reputable source.

Tilly, I use boron, the fifth element, for arthritis. It's available in 3mg caps and I use three to four caps a day at breakfast. It benefits you in other ways too. Search on "nothing boring about boron". Always consult your health care professional before using any supplement.
