MPN event Gloucester and S Wales 21 July

There is a danger that this event will be cancelled if not enough people turn up. I'd like to recommend it to you if Bristol is doable for you. My mpn specialist Rebecca Frewin from Gloucester Royal hospital is speaking and I can't praise her highly enough

I would have loved to go, but unfortunately we are going away.It would be good to get more notice, as people do plan things or a winter date, might mean less people on holiday.

I could get to Bristol but I can't mix yet, or indeed go into service stations for the loo en route. It's frustrating - I expect it's the same for you.

I've been going to service stations and doing careful meeting, eg wearing a mask inside, going to supermarkets , going to some cafes. Have you been given guidelines when you can relax some restrictions?

Not exactly guidelines, but I've talked to my team and the general consensus is to steer clear. I start donor lymphocyte infusions next month and that should strengthen my immunity. I can meet people outdoors but that's about it at the moment. I suppose all hospitals have different policies and I'm probably more risk averse than most!
