Just took my 2nd Peg injection. I have left injection out of fridge 20 mins before taken it. Took 2 paracetamol. Going to take another 2 paracetamol at 10.30pm then bed see if that helps. Hopefully I won't have repeat of last week felt really unwell.
Fingers crossed everyone ❤️

Hope this one is easier on you. No experience of this drug yet but am sure eveyone reacts differently. There will be folk on here with lots of helpful tips.
Hi I’ve been on this drug for 3 months now and the side effects have reduced massively over the last few weeks. I used to feel rough the day after and then even worse the one after that but now I feel pretty normal. Hopefully you will feel much better once your body gets used to it.
hi, I found each time I took my Peg the symptoms were less and less. Now I don’t get them unless I take it when feeling unwell. So keep going give yourself a chill day. 🤗💝
Did mine a few days ago 1st time . Put ice on my thigh & didn’t feel injection. Did it 9 pm took paracetamol & fine . Only on low dose to start 45 not 90 . Hoping stays like this after my horrendous reactions on Hydroxy 👍
My first injection of Peg was 90mcg and it really walloped me. I messaged my Dr to see if she agreed to go to 45 and she did.
I am now 3 months at 45mcg weekly and the side effects are barely noticeable. The first couple months I still had to have phlebotomies- 1 each month. Last week’s labs showed a good response to Peg !
I said the other day my side effects were barely noticeable, but this week’s injection hit me a little hard. A lot of fatigue and feeling some weakness. I took it Tuesday night and am still feeling it. So, I guess there can be ups and downs with it. I can say that I do not feel as bad as the first few times I took it.
