can you flyers in our group on Peg injections or similar liquid drugs tell me how we get around X-ray machine . I read somewhere that X-ray machine could affect Pegasus. So do we carry them through & do we need a supporting letter. I am more concerned for passing through foreign countries than the English speaking ones .

I have not seen the warning about X-Ray machines for Pegasys. The warning is from PharmaEssentia for Besremi. PharmaEssentia has a travel letter that you can have the doc sign.
The protocol is to request a visual inspection for the Besremi/cooler bag. It has not been a big deal for me in any airport in the USA. I did need the travel letter in Vienna, Austria. Getting the visual inspection was no big deal wince I had the letter.
Suggest contacting the pharmacist or manufacturer for information specific to Pegasys.
Thanks Hunter my Doc wants paying to give me a letter . I don’t mind that but assumed somewhere there was a system . It’s the foreign long haul countries I find problems with but I will chase up the pharmaceutical providers. Thnx so much.
Note that when I was on Pegasys I would have sent the PEG through x-ray without even thinking about it. I found the warning from PharmaEssentia on my own. I don't think my dcos even knew about it. I would definitely check with the PEG manufacturer for their recommendation.
If all else fails, suggest write the letter yourself and have the doc just sign it. Maybe a signature alone will be cheaper.
Thnx yes I found same when looking online yesterday as it mentioned radio active particles in it . However it’s not listed on the leaflet with injection & Dr had no information on it . Thanks I double check it 👌👍
