September Blood Cancer Awareness Month is a well-known annual global campaign focussing on raising awareness for blood cancers, with charities and patient organizations engaging their supporters to bring the community together, to showcase support available to them, and to encourage them to get involved with fundraising events.
On the 2nd Thursday of September every year, the MPN Awareness Day focuses on bringing the global MPN community together on the same day to raise awareness of MPNs and to fundraise to support their chosen charity/patient organization and MPN Voice would love for you to get involved and fundraise to support us. The 10th MPN Awareness Day is Thu 8 September.
Our main campaign this year is - Walk to Support, mpnvoice.org.uk/news/walk-t...
but there are lots of other ways you can join in and fundraise during September, here are a few suggestions:
• Wear something red all day
• Have a party with red food, red drinks
• A read-athon
• A boxset-athon
• A coffee morning/afternoon tea
• Garden sale
• Drawing or painting
• Or utilise your own talents and skill doing something you love
Ask your family/friends/work colleagues to sponsor you. We will support you whatever you would like to do, contact the fundraising team for more information - fundraising@mpnvoice.org.uk, and don’t forget to tell us what you are doing.
