Hi

I have caught Covid (in Spain)2days ago

I was allowed to skip my pegylated interferon dose for this holiday ( choir tour) as it’s a tiring week.

On return (in 4 days) I have to take my ‘increased’ dose of Peg(60mg)

Has anyone taken Peg with Covid and does it increase the side effects much?

I do feel grotty ,but not totally clobbered by the Covid(yet…🤞)

Many thanks for any info,

Best wishes ,

Bobbie

Hi… sorry to hear to have covid. I took my peg while having covid as well as the antivirals. It didn’t make me feel any worse. Joel this helps x

Many thanks for the replyI’m stuck in a hotel in Spain so not much access to anti virals yet. Did you receive these immediately?

I’m home in 3 days,

Thanks again,

Bobbie

Oh no! Yes as soon as it flagged up with my hospital that I had tested positive I had a phone call to say they were organising a taxi to deliver the antivirals to me the next day.

I continued as normal with the interferon when I had covid. I wasn’t that poorly with covid, just cold like symptoms. I did have the antivirals, no idea if they made any difference either. Hope you get better soon.

Sorry to hear about the COVID. Yes i did take it while I had COVID. It did not change the side effects at all for me.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

Hiya, hope you are coping with it all. Just asking, which choir are you with. I sang with a couple of choirs for over 30 years but mobility probs mean it’s hard to stand for lengthy periods and getting on and off stage tiring. I do miss it so much

I’m so sorry to hear that you had to give up singing.Sometimes the stage entries are very tricky ,narrow with steps, even for mobile folk.I sing with Vivace Chorus based in Guildford ,Surrey.

We have had a full audience out here in San Sebastián and Burgos in the cathedrals.

Take care,

Bobbie

Thanks, glad you had good audiences, makes all the difference. I was with Liverpool Cathedral chamber choir and Liverpool Philharmonic. Great concerts, great tours, great music, great times. Keep singing
