Requesting anyone to please share any positive/negative experience for a (2nd booster or 4th total from start) Pfizer booster shot while being treated with Besremi?

Thank you very much.

I had the three full Moderna vaccines while on Pegasys. Had COVID (Omicron) and monoclonal antibodies as well. I could not tell any difference on way or the other in terms of being on an IFN and getting a COVID vaccine. Dose 2 = histamine reaction (itching). Dose 3 = 24-hour flu. I expect that would have happened anyway, but do not really know for sure. I also had a reaction (sore arms/flu sx) when I got the flu and pneumonia vaccines on the same day. I think that was the result of doubling up on the vaccines rather than anything to do with the IFN.

I do think the advice that we follow up on vaccines and boosters is good advice, regardless of whether we are on Besremi. I am going for my booster today in fact. I may mix and match. Have been doing Moderna. May go with Pfizer this time.

All the best.

Thanks Hunter. It sounds like "nothing serious" to worry about but just the usual reaction. I think I will schedule my 2nd Pfizer booster shot a week after a new Besremi shot because I get flu like symptoms for approximately 72 hours (after each new Besremi shot) - that way maybe my body can have better reaction if there would be anything adverse.

The information you just shared to me was very valuable - thanks again.

No problem. That is my plan as well. Heading out the door now to get my booster - exactly between my biweekly Besremi dose.

All the best.

Did get the Pfizer booster yesterday. Had the full Moderna the first three times. Timed it to be right between the Besremi doses. No reaction other than mild soreness at injection site. I would say go for it. Definitely better than getting COVID again.

Thanks Hunter for the recommendation. I will get it in the next couple of weeks. I just found out that Costco in my area accepts walk-in for booster shots.
