I am now in a house of covid!!! My little boy tested positive on Tuesday so I tested my 2 other children, one of my daughters also tested positive 😩 i have isolated them and and nursing them from their bedrooms. I have been testing myself husband and other daughter daily, then on Wednesday my husband woke with a sore throat, he tested and…. Positive!! I have been testing myself and other daughter daily, I have been negative but yesterday my other daughter also tested positive!!! I’m now the only one in the house that’s free of covid! I’m walking around the house with a mask on! I went today and had a LFT done just to make sure. It’s unbelievable that I’m still ok! I have had 3 Pfizer vaccines.
Keep safe everyone. ♥️

Hi yes my hubby has it , No symptoms , negative LFT went for PCR test he is positive I’m Negative I personally feel LFT is not reliable hope you stay well
My children all have high temps and that all at the moment. Yes that’s why I thought I would have a PCR done this morning with my daughter, just to make sure.
Oh gosh! - I hope your children and husband only have mild symptoms and that they recover quickly - also that you continue to keep well (can only hope 3 jabs hold it at bay)! Take care and hope your family feeling better soon. Very best Anne-Marie x
Very sorry to hear that all your family have COVID, it must be very worrying for you. However, I wonder if your vaccinations have protected you so well that you won’t catch it from them. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Hi DazakellaSorry to hear all the family have covid I absolutely know how you feel I was in the same position as you last month as all my family had it but unfortunately for me I also got it however unlike you I'd only had 2 vacs as I was due my third a couple of days later. I must admit i was worried when I tested positive because I as well as PV I also have lymphoma but luckily 🤞 up to now I'm ok. For me it was like having a really heavy cold with a cough, I also lost my sense of taste and smell. I did also had really painful joints especially knees but I think that's probably because out the blue a number of months ago I started getting pain in specific parts of my body and long story short it turns out it's a condition called polymyalgia rheumatica an inflammatory disease for which I'm going to have to start a 2 year , maybe more? Reducing regime of predesalone, so all in all things haven't been to pleasant for me recently. But looking on the bright side I had my third covid vac yesterday so fingers crossed I don't get it again. I'm also crossing my fingers for you but I'm sure you'll be fine, I'd only had 2 vacs plus my little granddaughter, whom I caught it off, was asymptomatic so I wasn't taking any precautions like wearing a mask.
Good luck and I hope all the family get better soon, thankfully all mine have.
You've had your 3 vaccines so hopefully it will be a mild dose. I was scared as well when I tested positive it's a natural response but I'm 30 odd days post positive test and I'm ok up to now. Hopefully you'll be fine. I just kept well hydrated and even though I didn't have an appetite or taste I kept eating lots of vitamin rich food. I only had the trempreture for 2 or 3 days and it was manageable.
Hi Dazakella, just to wish you good luck and alot of patience dealing with such a stressful situation for you all. It must be so draining for you too. I began to type 'I sincerely hope you avoid contracting it' but had a mind to see if there was an update and was sorry to read you'd tested for it.
I really hope you have a mild form and are soon fighting fit again along with the rest of your family.
I have just had a phone call from the “extremely vulnerable” nhs department, telling me that they have me flagged up as testing positive for covid…. They said a doctor will call me within 2 days. She said as I’m under this category I have the option to start on a course of medication to prevent me from getting severe covid.
Wow! That's impressive. A system that works! Just hope the doctor phones as promised and the tablets can be delivered to your door in time, though, I hope, you will not need them and will be able to enjoy Christmas with your recovered family! All the Best to You.
Good news that they have identified you as needing anti-virals so quickly - I imagined we would need to chase around trying to get them. It goes to show the importance of getting a pcr. I hope you are ok. I have children and live in fear of one of them bringing covid into the house and us going down with it one by one, so I understand your worry. Hopefully the anti-virals and your vaccines will keep you safe. Take Care.
Really great to hear you have been picked up so quickly. You must surely have had some immunity to fight it off for so long. I do hope your symptoms remain mild. Let us know how the medication goes.
Dr Tim Spectre of The Covid Study says that all the, “ head colds,” in London are probably Omicron variant. The Omicron symptoms most commonly reported in order are runny nose, headache, mild of moderate aches, sneezing and sore throat.
Wish you well!! Stay positive. Being scary is so understandable. But it still seems you are well protected, given the fact you get it last. So maybe not against getting it, but surely against severe illness.
I’m scared about possibly catching covid and becoming a real recluse. I live alone so can keep myself isolated. Looking after the family all suffering from this dreadful virus must be a nightmare. Hope you all have mild symptoms and are well enough to enjoy family time together over Christmas. As long as you have food in the house the rest of your Christmas shopping can be abandoned and plan to celebrate a very special Easter when you have all recovered. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.
oh my that has to be so rough. I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I truly hope everyone does well with the situation and just have mild symptoms. I will pray for you and your family
im also sharing this with you that was sent to me. I am now just recovering from covid myself its terrible. Take this as you want I just felt I needed to share
The fact that we are so very vulnerable and yet you are holding the fort!I had a similar experience. I had covid passed it on to hubby who because of it was already sleeping in a separate room.
Feeling absolutely horrendous and only 4 days in since symptoms started I went into organising mode when my husband’s positive result came through 1/2 hour after I had taken my Peg jab ( big side effects and felt rotten ) yet I had to go from laying in bed to cooking for both of us.
Musical beds as he then joined me in our room. Antiseptic gel and masks everywhere.
I Banished my son to his bedroom with a microwave and free range to on line microwave meals as he had then only had one jab.
Poor lad was there for over a week. Leaving only to use the bathroom -shouting that he was coming out, face mask and gelled up to complete the journey
Eventually, husband was still positive I became negative so I moved into spare room.
The bed gave me a bad back so for a week slept on a blow up a bed
By the way me having covid put my son and his family into 8 days quarantine, I also found out my mum who is 90 got taken into hospital with covid and I had the hospital phoning me.
To me when things get bad and out of my control instead of screaming at the top of my voice i scream into a cushion. I throw my hands in the air, phone a friend and laughed at the whole scenario. It kept me sane.
So sorry to hear you all came down with COVID. I hope you recover quickly. And good news on the speedy response by the NHS, sending you the anti-virals, that is impressive and I hope it does the trick and keep your symptoms mild. All the best to you all xxx
Hello Dazakella, , how are you and your family members doing , , I hope you're all ok and recovered or recovering from Covid. And that your anti viral tabs helped with no unwanted side effects.
