Thanks Sally!

It was scary. My 16 year old daughter wanted to go to Schwedenplatz, (where the terrorist was shooting) that evening with her friends. They didn’t go because one of the group of friends got corona! I’m thankful to the Lord for His protection!

Music heals everything! I also draw, when I’m really down. So amazing! I only do sculptures with play-do! 😂

Lock down is ok. Time to clean, renovate, organize, cook special meals, dance around, write to friends.

All the best to you! Anag

I’d forgotten where you live Anag,

The only way is to count our blessings (of which there are many) and stay joyful in times of pain .

May we be guided towards healing ,

ourselves and the world .

So glad your daughter is safe . Bet she went from disappointment to relief when she heard about the shooting .xx

We live in Vienna. We saw the shooting happening on TV since people were immediately sending videos to the news. We saw a helicopter hovering from our balcony. Terrible. We were up till 3am watching TV and discussing. I had to get this whole thing analyzed and talked out with her, so that she could understand the social and political implications of the situation and slowly calm down.

We did some anti trauma exercises since she was shaking. She kept getting horror reports from friends, who were in the center and had witnessed the shooting. Unfortunately, some other messages were fake news and I was teaching her how to weed out fakes and cross check for correctness. It was a lesson for life for her and we were both absolutely exhausted when our heads hit the pillow.

We felt His protection that day and we were and are thankful!

Thanks for writing. Anag

She was so fortunate to miss that...my daughter missed the London Bridge terrorist attack due to her train being minutes late,We were in panic as we knew that she should have been on the bridge walking to Head Office at that precise time. Sometimes we all have a Guardian Angel I think..You keep well and occupied with music & 'play do'.....I just did a wild painting on a huge old wardrobe ,felt so much better covered in paint & not having to please anyone but myself with the resulting really great 'fantastic'creation !!Sally
