A new mole on my face

Hi just wanting to ask am 41 years old and other week a woke up with a new mole on my face its got bit bigger and on top like a scabbing onit feels scabby to touch aswell it doesn't hurt or anything just the look of it being scabby on top does anyone know of this is normal to appear on my face. Thankyoux

I would contact your dr & get it checked ASAP to make sure it's ok

Follow up immediately on this. Be aware that some of the meds used to treat MPNs can cause skin cancers. You really do not want to take a chance with a rapidly changing skin condition like this.

From your posts am l right that your a newbie diagnosed this year on Aspirin only. It cannot be due to any MPN meds as your not taking any? HU can cause skin cancer long term so protection is important ie sunblock. I have had two moles removed prior to ET diagnosis and both were benign. I have had other things that look like moles but weren’t . Here in Germany they give everyone a skin check annually so you become aware of skin issues. Many of our GP practices have skin doctors. The best thing is too check it out ASAP as Maz suggests.

OK thankyou u all amd yes am only on asprin at the moment ive got doctors tomorrow tea time about my right ear has posted few days ago I could mention new mole whats appeared on my face what looks like scabby on top feels like it anyways il see if doctor will just check it out for me tomorrow while am there just incase might not be but it does look like a new mole scabby ontop gone its quite big but doesn't hurt or anything but going ask doctors if can take a look thankyou u guys for your replysXx
