As you may be aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on fundraising events and activities resulting in loss of income for charities which will have an impact on the support and services they provide, MPN Voice is no exception to this and we are kindly asking for your support to enable us to continue with supporting the MPN community.

September Blood Cancer Awareness Month - 30 Days Hath September Challenge

September Blood Cancer Awareness Month is a well known and popular campaign which runs every year, promoted by many different blood cancer charities to engage supporters to fundraise during the month of September and to focus more on raising awareness for a particular blood cancer and supporting charity, often with a theme or challenge, the MPN Voice 2020 theme/challenge is: ‘30 Days Hath September Challenge’ to kick start our drive to help the health and mental wellbeing of our MPN Voice Community.

Challenge yourself, family and friends to raise awareness, help your own wellbeing and raise funds for MPN Voice to support our Community and Find the Cure! And you only need to do it for one month! Examples are: give up drinking; smoking; biscuits; cake; chocolate; fizzy drinks. Try a new/different exercise and do it every day for 30 minutes, or a different one every day for the whole of September, examples are: yoga; Pilates; cycling; running, and ask your family and friends to sponsor you. Or how about cycling from John O’Groats to Land’s End on your exercise bike! Or simply ‘buy us a coffee’ by putting the cost of a cup of coffee into an empty coffee cup every day.

The fundraising team can help you with ideas, setting-up fundraising pages, promoting your event and lots more - just email fundraising@mpnvoice.org.uk to request a fundraising pack.

You can set-up an online fundraising page at JustGiving justgiving.com/mpdvoice or Virgin Money Giving uk.virginmoneygiving.com/ch... to tell your supporters about your challenge and collect donations, you will also be able to give updates on your fundraising pages with photos so your supporters can see what you are doing. (please note that MPN Voice is not listed on Virgin Money Giving, you are required to use the Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity page and then in your write-up you can say that you are raising funds for MPN Voice, please be assured that all donations will be directed into the MPN Voice fund account. MPN Voice is a special purpose fund within the Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity).

If you would prefer to just make a donation to MPN Voice to show your support, you can do this via our donation page, mpnvoice.org.uk/get-involve... and can be either a one-off or regular donation. Thank you.

To all of you who have recently taken part in fundraising events and made donations, we thank you, your support is amazing.
