Conors Charity Fun Day

Hello folks, if any of you live near us in Norfolk , we are having a charity day which is raising awareness and funds for MPN voice as well as CLICSARGENT young lives V cancer. Conor is my son , he was diagnosed 2 years ago with JAK2 polycythemia Vera with thrombocytosis aged 14! He has had several TIAs and more recently a few spontaneous bleeds as his platelets are so high 1800. His pegasys has been increased to 270 mgs right in the middle if his GCSE exams.He also lost vision in his left eye for 25 mins during one if his maths exams, this happened another 2 times since. He wants to do something worthwhile to help others, raise awareness of these rare condition. Also to bring people together and as a way to thank family and friends for their support these past two years. This makes me wish I could fly to Norfolk from Harpers Ferry, WV - USA. What great wisdom from a such a young man. What a tremendous blessing to have such a mature and compassionate young person amongst us.

Thank you so much for your lovely kind words. We are very proud of Conor and how he has coped with his diagnosis and the ups and downs along the way.
