Blisters

I have ET and am being treated with aspirin and under a watch and wait treatment programme ! My platelets at the last count had gone up to 520 from 502 (they are regularly in the 500's. I've been getting blisters on my face ! Does anyone else experience this symptom ? It looks like a Spot here but it is a blister. when i went to the doc With them on my forehead too a couple of months ago he thought i may have Shingles !

Morning! Poor you😕. The blisters could be "nettle fever". An allergic reaction to Asperin. You could try to take an Antihistamin. It is harmless.

Hopefully it isn't the shingles !!!!

My hubby has ET/PV & gets the same blisters on his face, usually when the weather is sunny, also on aspirin. His platelets are usually in the 800`s. They then go scabby.

Thanks for your reply, at least someone else has them. Its not nice but knowing I'm not an oddity us somehow strangely reassuring .
