PV and taking Anastrozole

Hello all

I’m wondering if anyone in this lovely community has had the experience of taking Anastrozole (an immunotherapy for breast cancer) when they have PV.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago and take aspirin with occasional venesections.

My harm consultant has spoken to the breast consultant and decided being post menopausal and at medium risk of breast cancer this is the best drug to take.

However all I really have now is lots of paperwork telling me the risks and benefits but no evidence on the impact on PV or side effects.

Anyone with experience out there I’d be grateful for feed back.

Also Madz I wonder if u might enquire for me too.

Warm wishes on this festive season.

I don't know if this helps but I've got ET and have taken hydroxy for nearly 2 years. I had BC in 2014 and take anastrozole. Neither of my specialists queried taking both drugs.
