Could it be spleen pain

Been struggling with left side stomach pain for over a week now, seem to hurt more when eating. Could my spleen be enlarged. Also struggling with breathing, finding it hard to get my breath when doing household chore and walking. Any idea why. I am suffering for quiet bad anxiety at the moment.

Hi, please do not put up with this pain any longer. Go to your gp or to A&E if your really pained and breathless - you must get checked out. It may be nothing but better safe than sorry.

Please see your GP or haematologist, he can tell straight away by simple examination if your spleen is enlarged, just by feeling. Best wishes, Frances

Like others have said ring your GP’s this morning and explain the pain and the shortness of breath feeling and that you need to be seen today. Try not to panic, it may not be your spleen (I get intense and episodic pain in the left lower rib cage area, turns out I have 2 kidney stones that have taken up residency)!!!

I’ve got a telephone consultant with GP today, hopeful can get some advise, got to get results of a blood test which I had last week. He told me my platelet but not the rest need them for my nurse specialist. My platelets were high for me at 860 there normally in the 700. I’m also struggling with anxiety big time at the moment and going out is hard.
