Hi all, I have PV, my bloods are currently good, my pcv being .39 & platelets in low 400's. I am anaemic because of venesections and take aspirin. I'm experiencing a tingling sensation on my face and scalp and down my left arm. Its very subtle, not extreme like I have experienced with TIAs previously. Still, im quite concerned, is this a standard symptom?

Tingling and pins and needles
Hi, I always think that any new symptoms should get checked out. I’m terrible for blaming PV for everything as my GP reminded me the other day. I do get similar symptoms but it’s a compressed nerve which is causing my issues so please visit your GP just to make sure.
Kindest regards Aime xx😺😺
I’d say go to a and e . I have ET so cann’t comment on your condition. Take care
I should get it checked out. I'm PV but am on hydroxy and get numb finger ends, but not the tingling. Good luck

I am always having high PCV but no PV symtoms in the past 7 years. One doctor is telling if PCV cross more than 58 --- 3 or 4 times, it is PV. Some one is telling once if crossed 54 it is PV. How to belive?
Hi Johoho, you must get this checked by your GP. Maz
