Just a quick link to colloidal oatmeal recipe for rashes that can develop while taking medications, dry and itchy skin etc. Only 3 ingredients; oatmeal, coconut oil and rosemary.

Quote from article:

"Researchers found that cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments often have painful burns and rashes that colloidal oatmeal treats successfully

Beta-glucans, saponins and polysaccharides in oatmeal give it amazing cleansing and emollient capabilities, also giving it anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anticarcinogenic potential"

Any advice for skin care welcome! So,thank you fee13. I am on 1500 mg of hydrea per day and my face is flaky, reddened and sore, a small but irritating price to pay!

Have you tried aloe Vera? Plants are usually cheap and you only need to break off what you need, split it in half and smooth on your face. It can be sticky at first but is good for you internally and externally. Might be particularly helpful for the redness and pain. :)
