Sorry to be thick but what do you mean by artificially still?

By drugs (hydroxycarbomide) 😁

Of course I should have realised! I’m so pleased for you you’re right it is like winning the lottery! Mine has been kep under control with hydroxy and latterly with anegralide, I was diagnosed 14 years ago and it’s wonderful hearing β€˜stable’ when I have my blood checks so I really do know what it feels like - celebrated and keep taking the tablets!!

Thanks sue, it's an easy mistake to make.. wow 14 yrs living with it and having regular bloods is amazing.. I was diagnosed 9 months ago and only been taking HU for 7 months now. Why have you laterly been taking anagrelide? Still learning πŸ€—πŸ’–πŸ˜πŸ€”πŸ’–

ET hardly affects your life span as long as you take the tablets!!

I was on hydro but my playlets were taking a lot of controlling so anagrelide was added then the hydroxy was dropped to see if it would control things on its own - I’ve been stable ever since.

I go for blood tests every 12 weeks now, when I was first diagnosed I was going every 2weeks!

So don’t worry about it keep taking the tablets and get on with your life
