Hi,
Just wondering if there is anybody from Ireland on here that knows of any mpn specialists????
Hi Sheila. I looked for specialists here in Northern Ireland but could only find one specialist in Leinster in Ireland. Dr Evelyn Conneally. Look at Mpnresearch foundation.org. They have a list of specialists tho not sure how up to date it is.
Best wishes
Mandy
Welcome Sheila to this support site. I was diagnosed back in 2007 and consider myself lucky with the team that I have. When I wanted further information I e.mailed Eiblinn Conneally and asked for a private consultation. She phoned me back and spent ages going through things with me. I found her most informative. She worked with Professor Claire Harrison in London. She is based in James Hospital in Dublin. Don't know where abouts you are. She told me that there is another doctor now based in Cork who also worked with Claire Harrison - I seem to think she is Dr Keohane? I will have to go back through my bits and pieces to confirm this. But definitely Dr Conneally is great. Good luck Janice
Just checked through my bits, it is Clodagh Keohane and she is based in both the Mercy Hospital and also University Hospital in Cork. Janice
Hi, I've been seeing Eibhlin Conneally for 6 years she is quite simply the best!!!! I travel from Sligo. All the best.

Hi! I know this post is three years old but would you have Dr. Eibhlin Conneally contact information. Thanks very much. E
Hi EmeraldA, I hope you are keeping well & are OK with me messaging you. I found the thread re MPN specialists in Ireland & noticed your message.
Just wondering did you have any luck in contacting or arranging an appointment to meet with Dr Conneally? Many thanks,
Thank you so much for this info. I spend a bit over a month in Kinsale each year travelling from the US. I havé PV and worry if I need blood work or a venesection done I would not know where to go. This gives me the confidence to return to my beloved Ireland. I will keep Dr Keohane name in my wallet. Sending love and hugs to all my MPN soulmates.
Harlie
Hi Harlie, I know you didn't ask for advice but want to offer a suggestion to you. I encourage you to make an appointment to see that Doc even though you're fine so that you're already a patient of his if a time comes when you need to see him or her. Most docs are happy to have an initial appointment to meet you, get your medical info and then see you only if necessary. It's much, much easier then to see that doc in the future. Hope you're not offended by the unsolicited suggestion. How are you surviving the Florida heat this summer? Katie
Dr Clodagh was a doctor in Professor Harrison's team in Guy's Hospital for a couple of years and was extremely good. I really appreciated my appointments with her.
