bruising.: Hi all , i seem to be getting bruises... - MPN Voice
bruising.
Hi Holly
I get some bruising too and have been told that's it's proof the aspirin is working which I accepted .
But always worth asking the Docs xx
Hi Holly, I have always bruised easily, but since diagnosis/aspirin I get small 'black bruises' that appear occasionally for what seems no apparent reason. I put it down to the aspirin and am not worried by it.

Hi there. I used to take aspirin along with Ruxilitinib, allpurinol and calcichew D3 forte, every day, but my consultant said I could try taking the aspirin every second day because of all my unexplained bruising. Did this and now whilst I still get bruises they are not so large and not so frequent. I'm never free of them! Apparently there is a "new thought" that aspirin every second day is just as good! Bruddery
Hi yes thank you , i know asprin stays in our bodies a few days will see what heam says at my next appoiment
Hi Holly, I also get bruising for no rhyme or reason, so now take my Asprin every other day, this has seemed to of helped, and my last blood counts were all good, if you are concerned do you have a haematologist nurse available at the hospital who could maybe enquire for you even if it is just to put your mind at rest.
Myself I have accepted that this is all part and parcel of our conditions.
Take care

I bruise very easily - I think it's because I'm a delicate little flower!! (or maybe it's the ET/aspirin) LOL. x
