Excellent article, something that I'd've been happier reading about when diagnosed a few years ago. Thanks for the link ;-)

Really good article ,,I was terrified when I was diagnosed ,at my age I thought my life was over ,but far from it ,,as this article says ,positive thinking and a healthy lifestyle ,working with your specialist doctors and nurses team , you can carry on living an active and enjoyable life for many happy years ..thanks foe sharing .... I don;t have PV but this seems like a well written, positive article. There is so much negative, scaremongering when you try to research health conditions in general... This seems posiitive but realistic.

The line about PV progressing to MF was an interesting one. "but there is some controversy about whether it is the disease or certain medications that can cause this progression".

This is not something ive heard before that it could possibly be certain medications? Has anyone else? Is that medication Hydrea?
