Hi, Yes my platelets are very low, another transfusion coming on if they do not improve in a few days. My oncologist advises that it is my spleen that is sucking all good things out !! I am on Ruxolitnib an initially it was felt that it was this that was causing the reduction, however I have been off it for a few weeks because my lelves fell so much and they fell even further when I was off it, so just confirmed it is the progression of my PRV primary and progressed to MF. My level is 49 at present. HG is 90. Ruxolitnib is my absolute savior for all of my symptoms, it is certainly the miracle drug.

I would love to hear from others that may be experiencing similar situations.

Blessings to all, Jo; from Australia.

yes, continual battle to get the hydroxy dose to reduce white and red cells enough but keep platelets off the floor!
