Low Platelets Help

I’m taking 105mcg of Pegasys with 1500 mgs of Hydrea per week for PV.

I’m concerned that my platelets are falling lower every month. I just dropped to Under 100. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Anything under 150 is thrombocytopenia. This would be a risk on your current treatment plan.

It sounds like you need a dose adjustment. Suggest an urgent consult with your hematologist.

wow I think you need to contact your doctor asap. Your platelets are low. Surely after seeing your blood results someone will contact you. I didn’t think they drop suddenly. The positive news is, if it’s due to your current dose it will need to be reduced.
