Hi, I've quite suddenly developed painful joints, knees, elbows and hips are the worst. GP did rheumatic factor tests which thankfully came back negative, but I wondered if it could be connected to PV. anyone else experienced this type of thing?

Hi revfee, I have sore joints, inflammed tendons, extra bony bits rubbing on tendons, etc and have had the all the tests for rheumatoid arthritis, etc and all came back negative. I think Maz asked Prof Harrison before and as far as I remember there was no proven link. My PV was diagnosed in 2012 but had joint problems for years. Every sympathy Aime x
