Dryness .. ears, mouth, skin, everything!

Hi

I have ET. Meds are Pegasys inteferon and clopidegrel.

i am suffering from extreme dryness.

Does this sound familiar?

Sure sounds familiar to me Sherry. I have ET but am on hydroxycarbamide and aspirin. I periodically suffer from dry mouth and particularly dry skin, so much so that my skin in certain areas, mainly my stomach, flakes - its like snow. Dr recommended Aveeno cream which I now get on prescription. I also use No.7 Protect & Perfect moisturising body serum when I run out of Aveeno as supplies are limited on the NHS. Hope this helps. Hi Sherry, I have PV and suffer from an extremely dry mouth, no matter how much fluid I take in, also very dry skin especially on arms and legs. I eat chewing gum, that helps for a short time and use plenty of moisturiser, but its like fighting a losing battle. I am not on any meds yet apart from anti histamines. Every sympathy. Aime

thank you Sksar and Aime, I caved in and started antihistamine yesterday.

it was a relief to stop the itching.

dr prescribed Replens for my lady bits.

I have started omega-3 fish oils and lecithin to mosturise inside out.

i am hopeful this combinations works! fingers crosssed.
