Spleen

Hello All,

My spleen has been acting up lately, I never used to feel it but recently when bending over to pick something up or lifting my left foot to put on a sock sets off a sharp pain under my left ribs... It lasts just a few seconds before fading to a vague discomfort which tends to be forgotten until I bend over again!

I just wanted to know if this was normal and if there are many others with spleen discomfort?

All the best to you all,

Al

hi alired, if you have prv an enlarged spleen is part of the condition. i would get it checked out by your haematologist, as well as the pain- which could be just because its swollen and gets compressed when you bend over- try squatting rather than bending- cheers karteeka
