Hi I get cbd from holland and barrett called Jacob Hooy it goes down in price to £29 but is a lot at the moment, for 30ml at 5% I find the 5 % a big help with sleep and migraines mainly at night , it helps me go back to sleep after about 20 mins.

Try herb kingdom.com. Their personal advise is second to none.

Hi, Just wanted to alert you that - end of the day, it is still a form of marijuana extract. So there is a possibility that you may not be able to sleep well ever in future without having this. Unless the benefits clearly outweigh the risks - I won't take it, but of course it would be your decision.

Sleep and marijuana do have interactions but stating "you may never sleep in the future without having this" is a bit alarmist. I know plenty of very heavy cannabis smokers who have given up and had not problems sleeping. These people were consuming 3.5-7 grams a day. The most commonly reported side effect is that you stop dreaming (or remembering your dreams) so when you stop consuming cannabis this can take some getting used to.

I know people who deliberately take illegal thc oil an hour before bedtime to help with sleep, if they have a problem. I've been taking CBD oil fairly regularly (without thc) for over a year- I'd recommend Synergy Extracts or CBD Brothers online for buying the oils. There is a confusing array of formulations - crystals, gels, edibles, but look for just CBD oil, usually in a dropper bottle, sometimes in a spray. Try a 25% or 35% strength - the ones readily available over the counter in health food stores are way too weak and not worth the money, frankly. The last one I bought was from Synergy Extracts and it was Tangerine Dream 40% CBD paste - I actually find its not really paste like, slightly more liquid than that, but paste or oil, doesn't really matter, it all gets administered sub lingually (dropped under the tongue and held there till it dissipates). Some oils might say they're relaxing, or energising - that's down to the terpene mix they choose to use in each one. I don't recommend edibles - you just swallow those too quickly and don't absorb it, the most efficient absorption is sub lingual, rather like B12. I don't have any trouble sleeping, with or without CBD oil. If you use Synergy Extracts, open an account - they're always sending out discount vouchers to account holders. All perfectly legal, by the way, no hard drugs, not even thc, is available from these suppliers.

Hi Janine,i have also been looking into this as ive heard it is good for migraines and anxiety, but like you i dont know where to start.

Like Amber-11 has said i think Holland and Barrett might be our best call as they offer instore advice, plus buying online you dont know what you are getting

Having read extensively I have bought mine from the Healing Cauldron. I spoke to Phil there. Very helpful. I’m starting on the lowest dose possible as I can’t face any more issues in my life. Only started yesterday and will let you know how I get on.
