Has anyone had success with botox for chronic vestibular migraine? I have tried meds, diet, lifestyle changes etc with no relief at all. Desperately hoping botox will help me.

Botox success for migraine?
Had my first Botox in November. ☹️ only minimal difference. However I think it may have increased neck and shoulder pain. Will try again on 8/2 , sometimes they say it takes a couple of rounds before you feel the benefit. Fingers crossed.
I had Botox injections in my head, neck and shoulders over a period of 3 years. It wasn’t available on the NHS so I had to pay, that’s why I only had 3 years worth! They totally worked for me. Took all the pain away from my neck, shoulders and head. Make sure that you have the full set of jabs ie back of head, temples, forehead, side of neck and across the shoulders. Good luck.
Hi Kaf1. I too would be interested in other people’s experiences with Botox. I have been offered for the pain part but am concerned as to how this will affect the vestibular/vertigo part that I suffer daily also
Hi, my daughter has had 3 lots of Botox so far with no discernable difference. After having them done, 31 injections in all, there is usually a bit of additional pain in the neck but this wears off after a few days. Her neurologist is saying maybe up to 10 lots of treatment before she feels a difference.
I've heard it can take 3 sessions before improvement is noticed but if you feel no difference after 3 the nhs don't provide any more.
