Hi all hope your all well and in control of your migraines !! It's now one week since i had the daith piercing and i can defo see a difference. The day after it was done i got a migraine from hell but and this is HUGE for the following 5 days i have had no migraine. I can't believe it!! I've had a migraine daily for 15mths and had every tablet available in the uk and all triptans and pain relief from naproxen to oralmorph/ migraine botox. Nothing touched the pain. I have had no pain relief and no triptan for 5 days. The only thing i have is dizzyness / wooly head but I'm having my jaw checked in march to see if i have a TMJ disorder. Seriously guys look at the piercing it's virtually painless and you immediately forget it's there πŸ˜‚ I've not had one issue with it πŸ‘πŸ‘ good luck to you all πŸ’–

Thanx 😁 not out the woods yet, but whatever caused the daily migraines seems to have been interrupted for now. Neurologists should monitor this site they could learn a thing or two. Maybe once they look at my jaw I'll have a chance at getting back to my day job. So sick of being sick 😭 bit worried they might need to xray my jaw and may need piercing out 😭😱. Just need to roll with it x

I was completely migraine free for 3 weeks after having it done. They have crept back but nowhere near as bad or as frequent. I have just been to have the facial with the electri prongs but they wouldn't do it because of the piercing. I don't think it's possible to remove it yourself if it's the bar as the call is so tiny. You might be better going to the piercer the day before and asking him to remove it and replace it after the X ray. I'm sure there won't be a charge for that

Yeah it's defo an option I'll wait and see what the jaw specialist says. Hopefully they can get the xray or maybe an other option. It's a hoop with a ball. They could stand it up and hopefully it would just be a line above the jaw!! Gawd another hurdle lol x

That is great news! I have read so many positive things about this piercing I am defiantly going to give it a try. Thanks for leaving this message!

Hey Lowley, seriously go for it !! It's honestly so easy, 1&1/2 mins if your lucky and you honestly forget it's there πŸ˜‚ no trouble sleeping on it either. Like the advice i got, make sure the piercer knows it's for migraines and are aware of the pressure points. Goid luck, let us know how you get on πŸ˜‚x
