My partner gets headaches about 10pm every night in spring/summer months for the last 5 years, help me someone

I'm new on this site, saw some guy had headaches in winter months, what did u use. My partner won't go to doctor, but headaches are bad, eyes sore, he needs to sit in dark room with no noise, can anyone recommend anything

Sounds like cluster head aches tell him he needs to see is doctor. I get them every winter and the end off summer

If it happens at the same time every day it might be cluster headaches which is different to migraine , they tend to come for a while and happen at almost exactly the same time each day . I think they are hard to treat , google and see what they recommend maybe ?

Cluster headaches are often called "alarm clock" headaches as they come at the same time every day. Mine much worse in spring.

Otherwise definitely get him to a doctor as some headaches (including clusters) can't be treated by over the counter meds. The doc might be able to really help him.

There is a really good group called OUCH, they have a website with lots of info on cluster headaches, which is what it sounds like. Hope he can get some help, I have suffered from these for years, they are the worse sort of headache you can get and he really needs to see a doctor.

Dear it looks like a Cluster Headache as C H is very well tuned up with our body biological clock and it starts at the same time every day and for a specific period of time during the year and is known as episodic CH.

Some people suffer C H that is non episodic and it comes during the whole year

Dr. B. T. Horton wrote a paper in 1923 I believe and gave it the name of Suicide Headache and so far not much is done and medical really do not have much to offer for this evil. Sumatriptan injection work for some people and even Aspirin works in my case. As soon as the symptoms appear, I take 2 tablets of Aspirin but after the start of the pain, nothing really works and life is a living hell and I feel like living up to its name of Suicide Headache

Pentazocine injection works 100% for sure but it is a drug like stuff and one gets Addicted to it and is very hard to get rid of. Dr. recommend it in case of accident patients with severe injuries/pain for 2-3 times only. but not for the entire period of the pain cycle like in case of C H
