Ive a private prescription for Rimegepant (brand name Vidura). It’s expensive but works v well. Has anyone managed to get an NHS prescription for it)? My GP has referred me to a headache clinic with a 3 month+ wait list claiming it has to be done by them.

My GP prescribed it as an abortive recently. He said I qualified under the NHS guidelines as two or more triptans had been tried without success. A referral would be required to prescribe as a prophylactic.
