Hi, I'm new here. I've been on Sertraline for quite some time and it really works well for me. But I have to continue with the same brand as a change means my mental health rapidly go backwards .

Is anyone else having problems getting the brand that they need? I'm currently seraching like made for the Milpharm brand

Thanks, all

Hi there is no difference in the making of medications sertraline is sertraline as my doctor once said when I brought up this about another drug.

Apparently it's the filler they add to the drug that makes the difference for some people.

Did you get any resolution on this ? I only get a months prescription at a time and am having to keep switching brands - only been on 3 months but just as I feel I’m getting the benefits I backtrack with horrible symptoms like when I started on it. Last switch was from accord to milpharm which seems to have been the most difficult. Reports online seem to indicate milpharm is better so wondering which brand to advocate for as I keep switching like this as it’s destabilising. Any thoughts ? Grateful for anything you can share

Milpharm is the best for me. I think it is important to try to remain on just one brand. Find out which one your pharmacy will have a reliable long term supply and stick with that.
