Withdrawal Protocol Advice? Respiridone

Can anyone share a structured protocol, ideally NHS approved, for coming off Respiridone. My father is incredibly drowsy and has been approved to come off it, but is having to wait six weeks to see the psychiatrist to even start the process, which is very frustrating for him. My parents are making noises about starting the withdrawal themselves which I obviously caution against, but equally if there's an approved plan they could follow they could minimise risk and know what to look out for, rather than heading for disaster. The internet shows plenty about dosage but I can't find any withdrawal protocols anywhere. Just something that says a good pace is 0.5mg per two weeks or whatever to give a structure would be amazing. Also any experiences of coming off Respiridone would be super helpful if you'd be happy to share.

Many thanks 🙏
