Today I had the news that my cat is in a bad way. I have had her for over half of my life and I’m just really sad to think of living without her. We receive the results tomorrow and I’m so nervous waiting for them.
I knew that she was getting sicker and sicker as she was losing weight rapidly and losing her appetite. I hold so much guilt that I didn’t persist for her to be taken to the vets more. She is the family cat and I tried my best to say I knew something wasn’t right.
Sorry I just needed to air my frustrations...

I am so sorry to hear this. Our cats are so special to us and to have one get sick is an awful feeling. But you tried your best, and that is all you can do. Continue to love her, be there for her, and make her comfortable as you possibly can. ❤️
I am so sorry your family pet is not very well and is in a bad way. I had a Terrier that was Pat Dog in a Mental Health Day Centre, He died at thirteen with a Cancer and our feelings of loss where really very raw. Eventually we were able to get a Collie and all we can say is if you replace your Loss, Love the new one with all the love you can muster. We have Pip ashes and when we eventually go His ashes will be buried with us as will our Collie Pax.
Dogs and Cats and other pets are strong members of our families and they are a massive lose when they pass over. They ready a place for us for when we will join them in the next world
Big hugs. Its always heartbreaking to lose a much loved pet. I hope the vet can do something. If not then you have to comfort yourself with thoughts of doing the best for her and although it is awful to make that final decision at least you know that you are saving them any further suffering.
I hope you are going to be okay either way. Go easy on yourself in a difficult time. Only an animal lover can understand so dont be surprised if some people seem to brush off your feelings just seek comfort from those who truly understand what you are going through x
Our old cats were 17 and 20 when they had to be put down. We were lucky that the vet was able to come to our home so they weren't stressed out. My one regret is not doing it sooner as now I realise that it was our not wanting to let them go that made it harder to accept they were ill. It's now 4 years since we lost the 17yr old and just over a year since we lost the 20yr old and I still miss them. Our ten yr old cat has now become a lap cat which is lovely as he was not at all interested before. I can look back at the photo's of all those years we were lucky enough to enjoy with them and I am so thankful that they had so many years of good health. It is hard to come to terms with losing pets but you will get through it as we did and can look back with extremely fond memories of the time you shared. Thinking of you.x
I am so sorry to hear all this. Last year my dog was also in the worst condition due to an infection in his genitals. But thanks to the vet who treated him well and ordered some good medicines from worldpetexpress.net pharmacy.
