Having BP and socialising can be tricky, I drink far too much have reckless sex with women spend stupid amounts of money.

I lose total concept of time.

Does anyone else suffer these problems with BP?

Hi Jax,

Take a look at Mind UK information about BPD as the type of uninhibited, risky behaviour you describe is not uncommon particularly in the manic phase. I would urge you to speak to your GP and psychiatrist about your changes in behaviour, as they may need to adjust your medication or suggest other treatment options. You need to look after yourself and stay safe and keep others safe too. Many medications will advise not to drink alcohol due to the side effects and enhanced interactions which cause disinhibited behaviours and is potentially dangerous.

Your problems seem to be related to your Mental Health concern. One good thing you understand what is goi ng on and you have at least one problem that may help you move on. Drink whatever your condition will cause further loss of inhabitions that in turn will latch onto your mental health concern BPD.

You need to be more than honest with your Mental Health Team, if reckless you can in the long term be a danger with your own life positive expectations

I do drunk on medications, in fact last night a can of export and a triple malt seemed to slide down well and helped me sleep. In the past I negotiated with my GP, etc and I religiously follow the agreed weekly amount. However sometimes when ill I do not drink at all. Many of the medications we take can have some real negative effects. In your case it seems you are falling by the wayside and this is just making matters worse for you.

Consider you need urgent help to move on. With help hopefully you will understand what you need to do and control all your negative urges. Remember an itch feels it needs attention, however if the itch is bad and we still scratch hard it will become sore and possibly bleed. I know it will be difficult for your to resist, however that needs to be considered as you count to ten before you do something stupid

Keep a hold

Hi you! I don’t but my roommate does. She isn’t much of a spender but she said she can relate to what you’re going through.

Hi,

When I’m high I’m high, but then when I’m low I am really low.

How are you today?

I guess your from the States as you mention “subway”.
