Does anybody have paranoid schizophrenia? If so how does it affect you. Also what medications have you tried? I have tried quietepine, risperadol & haliperadol. I had no success with these medications so I'm finally on clozapine. There are many side effects but it seems to have eased my problem.

Hello Sammy5504

Welcome to this community. I am sorry to hear about your situation. It sounds as if the clozapine is more helpful than the other medications for you.

This is a supportive community, so our member may be able to offer you more support and advice. You may need to speak with your doctor or support worker (if you have one) to discuss any side effects you are experiencing.

You may find more information in the topics section under the medication heading to the right of this message.

Take care and keep in touch.

Good morning Sammy, i saw your post, just wanted to reply.

I am wondering whether medication is the answer the miracle cure we all want. Or does it come from within, through talking, exercising, eating healthy and being kind to yourself.

I worry not enough research has been done into these medications to date. We dutifully takes medication because we think the doctor knows best, but do they?

You might want to explore on tube intervoice The hearing voices movement. The voices in my head Eleanor Longden again on tube.

Very much like to hear your thoughts. So few people talk about this subject on this forum.

We all know effects 1% of the population.

Best wishes
